In ur church we belive that children ministry exists to connect you to God and also ministry is amazing community for people who want help.
Our children ministry exists to provide you with tools and resources to help you ignite your passions, deepen your faith in Jesus, and lead a purpose-driven life.
We believe our community gives you opportunities to express your shape for ministry and live your life on mission, empowering you to live boldly.
What is Student Ministry about?
We exist to lay a lifelong biblical foundation that is centered on Christ. We envision that teens would be genuine worshippers of God who love Jesus, his bride and their neighbor. We are committed to coming alongside parents since they are the main disciplers of their teens.
Partnering with Parents is key in discipleship of teenagers. The Bible commands that parents are to raise their children in the way of the Lord, so the church’s role is to come alongside parents to help them to do that. Our desire is to equip parents with resources to grow in their discipleship of their own teenagers.
What do we care about?
The Word of God is central in all that we do and say. We believe in the authority and sufficiency of Scripture. We, like Paul, ask the question, “What does the Scripture say?” The Bible is more than enough and all of Scripture is about Jesus (Luke 24:27 & John 5:39).
All of our youth leaders have undergone a thorough background check and receive training on the discipleship of teenagers.
The Student Union (TSU) is our space for students to hang out in downtown Cedarburg, located next to the Cedarburg Cultural Center. With regular youth-friendly events (i.e. art gallery nights, open mic nights, etc.), a coffee shop, and lots of tables to study, talk, or play games, TSU is the place to be.
(For those families who also have younger children attending AWANA on Wednesday nights, TSU is a great place for your middle or high school students to hang out while the rest of the family attends evening activities at Alliance.)
Membership is a spiritual, public commitment to worship, grow and serve at our particular Church. We hope that you will get acquainted with our church and, most importantly, Jesus Christ.
Although you are welcome to attend without obligation, we encourage you to learn about us and the Christian & Missionary Alliance (C&MA). At Alliance Bible Church, we encourage a firm commitment to the local church. Christ was so committed to the church that He gave His life for it, and then directed His apostles to establish local assemblies of believers everywhere.
The first step in becoming a member is attendance at our Membership Matters Class. This is held several times per year, and is an overview of the basic truths of Christianity and the unique ministries of our church.
The second step is to indicate your desire for membership by filling out and submitting an application form for prospective membership.
The third step is to meet with our leadership (Elders) privately to give a personal testimony of faith in Jesus Christ as personal Savior.
The fourth step in becoming a member occurs at a worship service when we publicly extend the right hand of fellowship to those who have met the preceding requirements.
Membership is viewed as a covenant of commitment to God and His people in this local body of believers.
We would be happy to further explain the organization of Alliance Bible Church and expectations for membership. For more information, please see a Pastor or an Elder.
Water baptism is as an outward expression of inward faith. Water baptism expresses our identity in Christ. However, like a logo to a ball team, it does not determine that identity.
We schedule water baptisms a few times a year. Spiritual and practical preparation is available through the Baptism Orientation Class which is conducted a week or two prior to the baptismal service. The class is for those desiring to know more about the Scripture’s teaching on baptism and/or for those desiring to be baptized. Once a baptism is scheduled, the congregation is notified via the ABC eNews (a church wide email), and the church bulletin.
For more information on water baptism, see the Christian and Missionary Alliance information link.
Alliance Bible Church is a gospel-centered, biblically-grounded church whose core mission is to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ locally and globally. It is our desire to see people respond in repentance and faith and to see believers grow in their love for, and obedience to, Jesus Christ.
