Discover Alliance

Interested in taking your next step at Alliance? Our Discover Alliance event is the place to begin! Bring the whole family for a 60 minute catered luncheon where you have the opportunity to meet the pastors, staff, and learn more about Alliance Bible Church. You’ll get to hear about our history and where we believe God is taking us in the future. Will you join us?

Never has our world been more connected yet felt more alone. At Alliance Bible Church, we are seeking to change that through Life Groups. In these small, gospel-centered communities, people of any relational, socio-economic background or ethnicity are invited to gather together and “do life” with each other. We desire for these groups to be open, fun, prayerful, caring, biblical and to multiply in ways that unleash followers of Jesus around the world. Our groups are flexibly scheduled, seasonally launched, and incredibly life-giving.

Join us for one of our next Connect Sundays when you’ll have an opportunity to join a Life Group. Click on “Go To Events”  to find the next connect Sunday.

Currently, Life Group Ministry does not have any openings. However, we are working on growing new groups and will have opportunities to plug into one this fall! Please fill out this form and you’ll be the first to know when the new groups go live. Thank you for your patience as we continue to grow as a ministry.

Our life group has provided us the opportunity to fellowship and raise our children with like minded parents in our church and our community.

Friendship, community, honesty, good conversation.

Having friends you can confide in and trust is important. My family is a transplant in the area and without our life group we wouldn’t have those close connections needed.

If you have a longing in your heart to get involved and make a lasting spiritual impact in the lives of others, then we want to invite you to consider serving.

When it comes to serving at Alliance, you’ll often hear us talking about it being a privilege, a sacrifice, and a joy. We believe that it’s a privilege, not a right, to join in advancing God’s kingdom in southeast Wisconsin. No one deserves to do this work. Instead, we believe that it is by God’s grace and invitation that we GET to serve him. This kind of humility is key to effectively working together.

We also believe that our involvement is to be sacrificial. We know that each of us only has a limited amount of time, talent, and resources, but we also know that God gave us his best, not his leftovers. Likewise, we want to give God our best.

Finally, we want to serve with joy. Since serving is a privilege, we want to be willing to do whatever is needed and serve cheerfully. When possible, we want people to have the opportunity to serve where they are best suited and most gifted and if they aren’t sure where that is, we try to help them pursue understanding how God has shaped them to serve.

Explore Membership

Membership is not a membership as in a civic organization or a country club, but as a functioning member of the body of Christ. 1 Cor. 12:27: “Now you are the body of Christ, and individual members of it.” As a functioning, participating member, we will worship with the saints regularly, we will give, we will serve, we will evangelize, we will study. We will seek to be a blessing to others.

The first step in becoming a member is attending our “Explore Membership” class. This is held a couple of times each year, and is an overview of what it means to be a member of Alliance Bible Church, the basic truths of Christianity, and the unique ministries of our church.

The second step is to indicate your desire for membership by filling out and submitting an application form for prospective membership.

The third step is to meet with our leadership (Elders) individually to give a personal testimony of faith in Jesus Christ as your personal Savior.

Membership is viewed as a gift. When we receive the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, we became a part of the body of Christ. When we commit to the local church we are committing to the bride of Christ! Christ loves his bride, the church, and gave himself up for her. Now we have the opportunity to serve others and be a part of something so much greater than any one person or member.
