I grew up in a military family and moved every year of my young life. I was brought up Catholic and attended Mass every Sunday. With all the moving and upheaval in my life my religion became my stability. When I met and married my husband, Jeff, the military life of constant transition continued and my devotion to my religion increased. The more pious I tried to live the worst my life became. Then, in 1982, God lovingly spoke to my heart and showed me, through a simple gospel message, that my eyes were on the church and not on Jesus. I repented of my sins and joyfully received Jesus as my Lord and Savior. God’s word became alive to me as I began to read the bible. That same year I was baptized in the Pacific Ocean.
By God’s grace, Jeff and I have been married 46 years. God has moved us to many locations around the world and He has led us to many wonderful churches. I have served in Children’s ministries, AWANA, and Women’s ministries. God has patiently matured me along the way, and He continues to sanctify me.
We have three children, who are grown now and have families of their own. Our oldest son, Luke and his family moved to Cedarburg seven years ago. We loved attending church with them when we came to visit, so it was no surprise to us that we would become active members of Alliance Bible Church upon moving here in June of 2020.
I love hanging out with my family and friends. I also enjoy reading, being outdoors, playing games, and traveling.
