Adult Education Classes

Adult Education Classes

Sundays, 9 – 10 AM

September 23 – November 11

Our Adult Education Classes (aka Adult Bible Fellowship) help us learn how to live out the gospel in our daily lives. Topics for these classes range from: growing in our faith and equipping us for service to building strong marriages and families. The following are our fall course offerings:

Room 202
Teacher: Steve Fletcher

Spiritual poverty, broken-heartedness, and rejection – not necessarily the stuff of the victorious Christian life.  Or is it?  In this study, we will examine Jesus’ teachings in the Beatitudes and how life’s challenges can actually bring us greater freedom and happiness.

Why Bad Things Happen to Good People
Room 201
Teacher: Matt Enwald

If God is all-good and all-powerful, then why does He allow good people to suffer evil? We’re all confronted with it … friends diagnosed with terminal illness; terrorist bombings at a beach café; childhood abuse; and hurricanes and tornados devastating neighborhoods. When skeptics ask this question—or when fellow Christians ask, or when you ask—what is a biblically sound response? Join us as we discuss these questions and more.

Multiply Leadership Training

Mondays, 6:30 – 8 PM

September 10- November 5

Heckman Hall
Facilitator: Brian Dainsberg

Part of Jesus’ plan for cultivating healthy churches includes developing leaders in the church (Eph. 4:11-13). “Multiply” exists for just that purpose.

There will be homework and books to read, but you’ll find the training richly rewarding! Everyone is invited to attend.
