When my husband was offered a new job in 2016, we packed up our family and left Colorado for Wisconsin.  At that point, we’d never been to Wisconsin.  We’d never even been to the Midwest.  We all really hoped the Midwestern stereo-type of kind neighbors with casseroles would prove true, and we weren’t disappointed.  We settled in the charming, little town of Cedarburg with our two kids, Finn and Rory, and a giant, dopey dog named Bobbie.

I grew up out west in a small town in northern California. I attended Point Loma Nazarene University for my undergraduate degree in San Diego.  At 21, I married my husband, Luke, and have had the privilege of adventuring all over.  At one point or another, I’ve held different addresses in California, Prague, CZ, Colorado, Georgia, and now Wisconsin.  So, I have some experience with being the “new kid on the block,” and know just how important good community is to the Christian walk.

I’m so grateful to serve in the role of Connections Director here at ABC.  It is my joy to help others find life-giving connections through community in ways that will spur them on toward Jesus.
