I was born in a suburb of Indianapolis, Indiana (Wanamaker) and lived there until I was forty-two years of age.  I married my high school sweetheart, Onnolee, in 1969, and we have two sons, David, Jr. (deceased at age 23 in 1998) and Aaron, age 45, who is married and lives with his wife, Jo, in Glendale, Wisconsin.  Our family moved from Indiana to St. Louis, Missouri, in 1987, due to my changing jobs.  We moved from Missouri to Wisconsin in January, 2002, due to another job change.

We have attended ABC since 2003, and have been active in the ALPHA ministry, men’s and women’s groups and Bible studies, the Seniors Bible Study, as well as my prior service on the Board of Elders (2015-2021).

I was raised in the church by Godly parents and expressed my faith in Jesus Christ at age 11-12 by “going forward” at a Billy Graham crusade.  I was baptized shortly thereafter at my childhood church, New Bethel Baptist Church.  After some time as a follower of Christ, my faith was strengthened and solidified by studying and applying His Word in Bible Study Fellowship.  I have been an active church member in our previous church congregations, and desire to serve the Lord by serving others here at ABC, both as an elder and volunteer in other arenas.

I consider it a blessing and privilege to be a member of the ABC family.
