John Thomas

I grew up in a Christian home in southern California.  My Mom is a prayer warrior.  I received a good foundational knowledge of salvation but didn’t have a close relationship with Jesus.  I went off to college at Washington State University for a mechanical engineering degree and stopped attending church.  In my junior year I met Anne, now my wife, and started attending a Christian church with her.  In 1992 we graduated college, became married, moved back to California for a job with Northrop, and attended a Christian church there.  Three years later we moved to Ohio for a job with Honda and became members of Dublin Christian Church.  There I grew in my relationship with Christ through sermons, Bible studies, small groups, and prayer.  I was then baptized in my early thirties.  In 2004 we moved to Wisconsin for a job with Hayes Performance Systems and have been attending Alliance Bible Church ever since.  I have enjoyed serving God and growing through a variety of ministries over the years at ABC.

I live in the town of Cedarburg with my wife Anne.  We have 3 children who all call Wisconsin home, although our youngest son attends the University of Idaho and is away during the school year.  I enjoy mountain biking, kayaking, disc golfing, cross country skiing, playing board games, and listening to music.-
