My new life in Christ began the summer after my junior year in high school, when I learned of the deep, faithful, and transformative love of Christ while at a conference with friends. After returning home, my friends and I were so excited to share the good news of the gospel that we started a weekly ‘youth group’ that met in my family’s basement. I joined a church in Milwaukee where, years later, I met and married my husband, Willie. I was an active member of that church for 30+ years until the Lord led our family (including adult kids, Danny and Tori, and teenage son, Benji) to Alliance Bible Church in 2021.
Our family loves ABC! We are blessed by the Bible-based teaching! I treasure the iron-sharpens-iron friends I have here, like the ladies in my Tuesday small group, the friends in our Life Group, the mammas in the homeschool group, and more!
I earned my undergrad in Education from Marquette and my masters in Teaching and Learning from Maranatha Baptist University. I have worked in education for 30+ years and feel called to serve the next generation by helping them grow in “wisdom and stature and in favor with God and with man.”
For fun, I enjoy writing (kids’ musicals, Spoken Word, and children’s books); dancing (mostly in the kitchen); playing games with family (Bananagrams, anyone?), and listening to podcasts on Scripture and theology.
