Mindy Meyer

Director of Children’s Ministries

I grew up in Wisconsin, so when an opportunity brought me and my family back to Wisconsin in 2018 we were overjoyed. Moving back has brought many blessings. We love being closer to family, playing in the snow in the winter, and enjoying all the wonderful lakes in the summer.

In my free time my husband, Les, and our two sons, Brayden and Zachary, and I enjoy being in the Northern Wisconsin woods, and being active outside. I also love to sit down with a good book and a blanket.

Being active in my church has always been a huge part of my life. With being so active in my church growing up I knew from a young age that teaching kids is one of my biggest passions. After graduation from Augustana College for education, I taught Kindergarten for several years. I also worked as the education director at a church and a children’s museum. In every place I have worked, working with kids brings me joy.

Growing up in a Christian home I have known the love of Christ my whole life. He became my Lord and Savior when I was in high school. I know what my relationship with Christ has meant to me and so to be able to share that light with children is such an exciting experience. It is my calling to be able to share the gospel with kids and watch their enthusiasm  grow as they yearn to know more of Christ.
