I’m a native to Milwaukee and love the beautiful state of Wisconsin with all its seasons. I’m thankful I was raised in a family that focused on loving God and others. As a child I tried to do the right things and live for God, but after high school I started searching for the deeper purposes behind the “dos and don’ts” I was taught and what defined my faith. Was I “good enough” to go to heaven? Questions eventually led to answers found in the Bible. No, I was not good enough, but Jesus was. He is my Redeemer, my Savior, and my Lord. I am so grateful for my life “in Christ”!
Through the years I have enjoyed the opportunity to be an Office Admin Assistant in the Christian community (25 yrs. at a Christian elementary school and 10 years at a Bible Church. Throughout my years there have been many seasons of spiritual renewal, flourishing growth, and invigorating activities that refreshed my soul. Yet, I found it interesting that it has often been in the storms of life when I have learned more of about God’s incredible love, grace and mercy. He has been my Wonderful Counselor, Refuge and Comforter in the midst of some cold, harsh winters, when life didn’t go as I expected. As my Good Shepherd, He has been my Provider, Protector and Guide through life’s obstacles, detours and rough terrain.
Some of my special joys are being with family and friends and serving at ABC as the Biblical counseling Coordinator (working with counselors and counselees). In addition, I enjoy hiking and kayaking in the great outdoors and having a good walk and talk with a friend.
