Spiritual growth is the expectation for the believer. Just as a baby grows into adolescence and adulthood, so the Christian grows in maturity. Sloth, on the other hand and in a spiritual sense, is deadly. According to Hebrews, it actually leads to apostasy. So how can one be on guard against it? What are the warning signs? And what does theology have to do with it? We will explore the connection between what we believe and how we live.
Pastor Dwayne Sommersell looks at Hebrews 5:11-6:12 and gives us three exhortations…
- Let us aim to please God and not self
- Let us train ourselves
- Let us drink deeply of the gospel rain
