Grumbling is a recurring theme in the Old Testament. God’s people were rarely satisfied. This stems from unbelief, which is connected to a hardened heart. As a result, they were not allowed to enter God’s rest. We too must be on guard, but how does that work? We will see how God has designed his Church for his glory and our good.
