I was blessed to have grown up in a solidly Christian home where Jesus was magnified. So at the tender age of 5, I remember praying with my parents asking Jesus to forgive me of my sins and come into my life. The time since has been characterized by consistent growth all due to the grace of God.
Being the son of a pastor, I guess it’s not surprising the Lord called me into ministry. I earned a B.A. in Applied Music from UW-Green Bay in 2002 and later received my Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 2007. In 2008, I was ordained by the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
Before coming to Alliance Bible Church, I spent twelve years serving on staff at Appleton Alliance Church. It was a gift to be able to work during that time in worship and adult ministries before taking on the role of Executive Pastor. This position was God’s way of preparing me for the next part of my journey as the Lead Pastor here at Alliance Bible Church which began in August of 2016.
The Lord has been very good to Alliance Bible Church during my time here. Church growth, staff expansion, facility improvements, changed lives, and church planting have been themes since 2016. We’re more than a church. We are a family joined to Christ and united under the banner of the gospel.
My wife, Jedotta, and I have two children: Braylen and Taelyr. They are diligent students actively involved in extracurricular activities like golf and dancing respectively and find great joy in faithfully serving in the life of our church. In addition to spending time with my family, I like to golf, look for new Thai and Chinese restaurants (or any good tasting food!) and read books.
