Women

Welcome to a life giving community where you can belong and be challenged to grow in your walk with Christ and others. Our Women’s Ministry is committed to helping you thrive. We believe that happens best as you are able to connect with other women who are pursuing rich, deep, gospel-centered lives. Through a wide variety of ministry opportunities and events, our intergenerational community of women offers hope and help to every woman who attends, whether you’re just starting on your journey of faith or are well on your way. We’ve saved you a seat, and we look forward to connecting with you soon.

Women in the Word (Sept.-May)

Do you desire to dive deep into the study of God’s Word with other, like-minded women? Then, join us for Women in the Word, which is held on Tuesday mornings and Thursday evenings. Through both large group sessions and small group breakouts, you will be challenged to grow in your faith while building Christ-centered community and friendships.

This fall we will be studying Exodus 19-40 with Jen Wilkin.  In Exodus we see God as our strong Deliverer who sets us free from sin and death. In this 10-session study of Exodus 19–40, journey through the story of how God shepherds His newly-liberated children into an understanding of what their freedom means: lives consecrated for service to God and to one another. Revisit familiar scenes and with fresh perspective, ask what these stories teach us today about how to live as those set free.

Mom to Mom (Sept.-May)

Mom to Mom’s mentoring ministry seeks to help build strong faith filled families with God centered Bible study. We are a mid-sized community of moms with kids of all ages which gathers year-round. We offer a safe place to share, receive support and encouragement, and grow under the instruction and mentor-ship of “further along” moms.

At M2M We begin our meetings with video teachings and then break out into our groups where we have small group discussions and support to encourage the hearts of our moms.

This year we will be studying Heart Talk.  Here is a note from the author of the book:  My prayer is that the material in this book will provide for you what it has already given many other moms:
-help in our parenting skills
-hope in the powerful God who gave us these children and is our ultimate Power Source
-heart-to-heart encouragement from one mom to another

Moms in Prayer (Sept.-May)

Moms In Prayer International impacts children in schools worldwide for Christ by gathering mothers, grandmothers, or any women to pray. Join us for one hour of praying scripturally and specifically for our children. We meet during the school year on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month. If you have any questions, contact Mindy Meyer mmeyer@myabc.church.

Bold Move Finances

Bold Move Finances

Bold Move

Finances | How will this effort be paid for?

We are raising the funding through Alliance Bible Church and the Christian and Missionary Alliance to support this work.

As a church, we are aiming to help this new endeavor succeed while helping it to achieve long term financial freedom and sustainability.  We will need to raise an additional $150,000 to make this launch a reality.  This funding, coupled with others, will be dispersed to the new church over a five-year period as its own giving grows and becomes self-sustaining.

Bold Move Who?

Bold Move Who?

Bold Move page

We are Raising Up Current and New Leaders

and Gathering Attenders.

As a church, we are committed to continually raising up biblical, qualified, leaders as we multiply at every level.  Currency, we are aiming for 2 pastors, 3-5 elders, along with 25 additional key leaders, and many more volunteers to serve and assist with the launch of Lakeside Alliance Church.

Pastors/Elders

Jon Vallier will be the new Lead Pastor of Lakeside Alliance Church.  Additionally, the church will be looking to engage a second full-time pastor to serve with the new church.  Finally, the new church will have a team of qualified, male elders to care, lead, and teach.

Leaders/Volunteers

Additional key leaders such as deacons and deaconesses will be needed to provide the ministry of care and support to this new body.  However, leaders in every area of ministry will be needed to serve.  Whether you’re equipped for serving with outreach opportunities, children, music, finances, or elsewhere, this will be a great opportunity to receive training for putting your talents and abilities into ministry.

Congregation

We are gathering 150-250 individuals from Alliance Bible Church and the surrounding area to join Lakeside Alliance Church.  Ideally, attenders and members of Alliance Bible Church who live in  Northern Ozaukee County (i.e. 15 minutes or more from our current campus) will comprise the initial 150 person contingency to the new church.  However, others from the area and beyond who sense God’s invitation to this work are welcome to join the mission of reaching the de-churched, distracted, and those who are distant from God.

Bold Move Why Multiply?

Bold Move Why Multiply?

Bold Move

We are Multiplying Because of a Theological Conviction and a Spirit – Led Direction.

We believe that the church was made to expand.  In the Scriptures, we see from the Garden of Eden to the Great Commission that God has been calling His people to pursue multiplication.  Launching Lakeside Alliance Church is a large-scale example of putting this theological conviction into practice. Making a bold move at this time is underpinned by several key factors:

1. God’s Calling.

After much prayerful consideration our leadership believes that God is calling us to launch a new church in Port Washington, as a strategic partnership, to help reach more people in Northern Ozaukee County with the message of the gospel.

2. God’s Provision.

Alliance has experienced significant growth in the last five years in leaders, attendance, resources, and influence while remaining debt free.  All of these provisions allow us to support this move.  Stewarding these resources with  a Kingdom mindset is vital.  With a large and growing contingency of attenders and members already living in the northern Ozaukee area, we are well positioned to turn this vision into reality.

3. God-Sized Need.

When considering Saukville and Port Washington alone, there is a significant need for the expansion of gospel-preaching churches.  Currently, of the 19,089 people in those two cities, only half of the population has even a slight level of engagement with their faith.  That reality, coupled with the fact that there are precious few churches that hold to the authority of Scripture and preach the gospel in this growing area, reveals that the vision for reaching northern Ozaukee is truly God-sized.

Men’s Studies

We want to encourage and see men aim higher and farther than ever before. This fall, our theme is “Arrows.” We have 3 options to help you improve your aim in different areas:
(1) “The Art of Parenting” – helping you give your kids a solid foundation they can use for the rest of their lives.
(2) “Seven Arrows” – Provides simple tools to study and apply God’s Word to create a biblically saturated life.
(3) 33 The Series – Will help you pursue authentic manhood as modeled by Jesus during his 33 years on this earth.

Women’s Studies

Join Women in the Word for a study on the book of Jude (in-person and virtual options are available) or attend the Mom to Mom group which will be watching the movie, “Arrows,” and reading the book, “The Art of Parenting: Aiming Your Child’s Heart Towards God.”

We realize many moms will have older children home due to school Covid policies. If you pre-register your child(ren), we will be able to accommodate your school-aged children on Tuesday mornings for both Mom to Mom and Women in the Word. Brian Dainsberg, Lead Pastor

Brian Dainsberg, our Lead Pastor, has three action items for each of us to implement to help us avoid our natural tendency towards self-absorption and fear during times of crisis.

Click HERE to watch his vlog.

One element of Pastor Brian’s three-part challenge includes giving. We have three ways to give: through our website, through our app and mail. Questions? Just send us an email or call our office. Our email, phone number and address are all at the bottom of this page.
